Longfellow/Seward Healthy Seniors is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community based organization serving a diverse population of older adults in the Longfellow, Seward, Cooper, Howe and Hiawatha neighborhoods of south Minneapolis. We also provide limited outreach services in Cedar-Riverside, Ventura Village, and Phillips West neighborhoods. Our mission is to enable community seniors to live healthy, independent and socially connected lives. We’ve been providing services to seniors since 1994. We serve about 500 seniors annually.
We’re a member program of the Living at Home Network, which is a coalition of Living at Home/Block Nurse Programs throughout Minnesota that helps seniors live independently. Financial support for our program comes from public and private grants, foundations, donations, fundraising events and bequests. Donations and bequests are tax deductible. |
